It can be easily prepared at home, for example at a party for our friends.

For how many glasses?:

Ingredients for 1 glass

1 lime
6 mint leaves
4 cl / 1.4 fl oz white rum
4 cl / 1.4 fl oz sugar syrup
carbonated mineral water
crushed ice

Preparation

1. Cut the lime into four, and put into a long drink glass. Put the mint leaves on it, too.

2. Pour the sugar syrup and the rum into the glass.

3. With a wooden fruit muddler mash the lime (it brings out the savour).

4. Fill the glass with crushed ice.

5. Finally fill the glass up with carbonated mineral water and stir well with a bar spoon.
